Performance & Uptime

Keep every link in view.

FocalShift connects server capacity, core services, your site connection, and its current response in one understandable operating path.

KapasitasLayananKoneksiResponse
01 / The operating path

A site response begins long before the browser.

Each checkpoint answers a different question. Together they show where to begin looking—without turning one result into a promise for the entire chain.

Capacity: What is the server carrying right now?
02 / Time context

What is happening now is only the first question.

Read live resource use, then widen the context. Load averages show one-, five-, and 15-minute pressure. Metric history opens the view to one hour, 24 hours, or seven days.

Reading 1 minute of load context inside a 1 hour metric view.

03 / Read the result correctly

Reachable now does not mean “100% uptime.”

A current response says what happened during that check. Historical uptime requires repeated observations, defined success criteria, and a stated time period.

Current reachability

A bounded request asks whether the configured site responds now. It is a moment of evidence.

One current check
Measured uptime

A rate requires a series of checks, a defined success rule, and a declared measurement window.

04 / Connected site health

The connection proves which site is answering.

For a member-owned connected WordPress site, FocalShift sends a signed request through the FocalShift Connector. A valid response can return focused site-health context.

FocalShift

Signed request

The request is scoped to the connected site. Raw identifiers and signing details stay out of the marketing experience.

Connected WordPress

Focused response

Connection state, platform context, active-plugin count, commerce detection, and last heartbeat can return when available.

Fresh: the connected site reported within the current 24-hour freshness window. This is connection context, not uptime history.

05 / Health, explained4 of 6illustrative visible checks passing

A health score is passing visible checks divided by available visible checks. It is not uptime, a performance grade, or a security certification.

A score is useful only when you can see what shaped it.

06 / Service state

Performance depends on the services underneath it.

FocalShift can list the supported services reported by your server. Their state tells you where to inspect; it does not promise the site is healthy end to end.

Sehat

Web service

The reported health state is healthy.

Berjalan

Runtime service

Reported running without a healthy result.

Perlu perhatian

Data service

The reported health state is unhealthy.

Dihentikan

Supported service

The service is not reported running.

1Review state

Start with the service report.

2Confirm restart

Acknowledge the brief interruption.

3Reconnect

Allow the supported service to return.

4Recheck

Inspect the returned state again.

Demonstration only. This does not restart a server.

07 / Performance alerts

Let duration separate a spike from sustained pressure.

Choose CPU, memory, disk, or one-minute load. Set a threshold and require it to remain crossed for five minutes, ten minutes, 30 minutes, or one hour before FocalShift emails the account address.

Example: Email me when memory is above 80% for 10 minutes. The value is editable—not a universal recommendation.

See what is responding. Understand what changed. Choose the next move.

Bring server performance, service state, connected-site health, and current reachability into one clear operating path.
