Community Guidelines

These Guidelines protect the people who build, learn, publish, collaborate, buy, and sell across FocalShift communities and the FocalShift Network.

Effective July 27, 2026

Be constructive

Treat people with dignity. Debate ideas without attacking identities or individuals. Do not harass, threaten, bully, stalk, shame, or organize abuse. Do not target people based on protected characteristics or encourage others to do so.

Be authentic

Use accurate identity and business information. Do not impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent credentials, fabricate results, coordinate fake engagement, manipulate reviews, or use undisclosed synthetic media to deceive people.

Keep people safe

Do not publish private personal information without permission, threaten violence, encourage self-harm, sexually exploit anyone, groom minors, traffic people, promote dangerous organizations, or use the community to facilitate illegal activity. Credible threats may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Respect ownership

Post only content you own or are authorized to use. Respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, and contractual rights. Use our Copyright and DMCA Policy for infringement notices.

No spam or manipulation

Do not send repetitive or unwanted promotions, scrape members, buy or sell engagement, manipulate discovery systems, deploy deceptive links, run pyramid schemes, or use automated accounts to create artificial activity. Commercial content must be relevant and accurately labeled.

Marketplace and professional conduct

Represent products, services, prices, availability, qualifications, and outcomes honestly. Deliver what you promise, communicate material limitations, protect customer information, and resolve disputes in good faith. Regulated services must be offered only by properly qualified persons.

Moderation and enforcement

We may reduce distribution, label, remove, preserve, or restrict content; limit features; suspend or terminate accounts; and notify affected parties when appropriate. Decisions consider context, severity, history, intent, risk, and legal obligations. Attempts to evade enforcement may result in additional action.

Reports and appeals

Report suspected violations using available reporting tools or FocalShift Contact. Include relevant URLs, account names, dates, and context. Affected users may appeal an enforcement decision through the notice or support channel provided. We may decline repetitive, abusive, or unsupported reports.
