Prohibited and Restricted Businesses Policy
This Policy identifies activities that cannot use FocalShift commerce, wallet, payout, marketplace, affiliate, or payment features and categories that may require advance approval or additional review.

1How this Policy works
A business can be lawful yet still be unsupported because of payment-network rules, financial-partner requirements, safety concerns, location, licensing, or risk. The examples below are representative rather than exhaustive. We may request information, licenses, fulfillment records, policies, or approval before enabling a category.
2Prohibited businesses and offers
Prohibited activity includes illegal goods or services; trafficking or exploitation; child sexual-abuse material; non-consensual sexual content; stolen, counterfeit, or recalled goods; illegal drugs and paraphernalia; unlawful weapons; malware, credentials, or hacking services; sanctions evasion; deceptive investment or get-rich-quick schemes; pyramid schemes; money laundering; unauthorized money transmission; false identity documents; fraud; academic cheating; and products or conduct that infringe another person’s rights.
3Restricted categories
Categories that may require advance approval, enhanced verification, or additional limitations include regulated financial services; lending, credit, or debt collection; credit repair and debt settlement; investment advice, securities, and trading education or signals; digital assets, cryptocurrency, token sales, and related mining or exchange activity; collecting money for or on behalf of another organization or cause; charities and charitable solicitation; multi-level marketing, network marketing, and business-opportunity, income-claim, or earnings-based coaching and training; healthcare, supplements, pharmacies, telemedicine, and medical claims; alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis-related activity, and age-restricted goods; travel; ticketing; marketplaces; content-creation platforms; high-risk subscriptions; dating; gambling or prize promotions; political activity; firearms-related goods; legal services; and other regulated professional services.
Business-opportunity, income, and earnings claims. Coaching, training, mentorship, community, or software offers that promote income, earnings, business-opportunity, or investment results are restricted. If approved, an offer must be truthful and substantiated, must not present an atypical result as typical, must disclose material limitations and required costs, and must carry a clear statement that results are not typical or guaranteed where a specific figure is shown. Required-purchase, recruitment-based-compensation, and pyramid structures are prohibited outright.
4Payments and wallet restrictions
Do not disguise transaction parties or purposes, process payments for an undisclosed business, use personal transfers as commercial payments, evade fees or monitoring, manipulate refunds or chargebacks, create artificial wallet balances, sell access to a payment account, or use FocalShift as a bank, escrow provider, stored-value product, or money-transmission service unless a feature is expressly structured and approved for that purpose.
5Content and creators
Creator payments, premium content, memberships, sponsorships, tipping, and digital goods must be truthful, lawful, accurately described, and supported in the applicable location. Adult sexual services and explicit adult content are prohibited.
6Review and enforcement
We and our payment providers may review an account before or after activation, request documents, apply transaction or payout limits, hold or reserve funds, reject a listing, restrict features, or suspend or terminate access. Approval for one offer, account, location, or provider does not guarantee approval for another and may be modified or withdrawn.
7Kontakt
Questions about eligibility or restricted categories may be submitted through FocalShift Contact before accepting payments or publishing an offer.
