Agreement and priority
This Addendum supplements the FocalShift AI Terms of Service and applies whenever you access or use FocalShift.Network (the “Network”). The Terms of Service and all incorporated policies remain in effect. If this Addendum directly conflicts with the Terms of Service on a Network-specific issue, this Addendum controls only for that issue.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a contract, and authorized to act for any organization you represent. Account, profile, professional, and business information must be accurate and kept current. You may not impersonate another person or organization, sell or transfer an account without permission, reserve names deceptively, or use credentials that you are not authorized to use.
We may request identity, authority, business, payment, or professional-qualification verification and may display a verification status. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, license, or warranty.
Profiles, visibility, and discovery
Your chosen settings and product context determine whether a profile, post, listing, group, reaction, comment, or connection is public, limited to selected people, or private. Public material may be viewed without an account, indexed by search engines, embedded, quoted, or reshared by others. Privacy settings reduce intended distribution but cannot prevent recipients from copying, recording, or further sharing information.
Your Network content
You retain ownership of content you create and rights you already hold. You grant FocalShift AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical display, translate, distribute, display, perform, cache, and recommend your Network content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Network according to your settings. This license includes the limited right to permit service providers and connected features to perform those functions for us.
The license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except to the extent the content was reshared by others, remains in backups or caches for a limited period, must be preserved for safety or legal reasons, or is otherwise retained as described in the プライバシーポリシー. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to post and distribute the content.
Connections and communications
Network features may include following, connections, reactions, comments, mentions, groups, spaces, direct messages, event participation, and collaboration requests. Do not spam, scrape, harass, deceive, or use contact information outside the context in which it was provided. Messages are not guaranteed to be confidential or end-to-end encrypted unless a feature expressly says so. Recipients may retain, report, or disclose communications.
Feeds and recommendations
FocalShift may organize and recommend profiles, posts, groups, listings, and opportunities using signals such as recency, relationships, interests, engagement, quality, safety, and preferences. Ranking is not an endorsement or a promise of reach. The principal factors and member controls are explained in the Feed and Recommendation Transparency Policy.
Communities and administrators
Members who create or administer groups, spaces, events, or communities must apply rules fairly, accurately describe the community, protect member information, and comply with FocalShift policies. Community administrators act independently and cannot bind FocalShift. FocalShift may intervene when necessary to address safety, legal, security, or policy concerns.
Business, commerce, and sponsorships
Members may be able to offer services, courses, memberships, physical or digital products, and sponsorships. All marketplace activity is governed by the Network Commerce and Marketplace Terms. Commercial relationships and paid endorsements must be clearly disclosed under the Affiliate and Endorsement Policy.
Moderation and enforcement
You must follow the Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy. We may label content, limit distribution, remove material, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate access, preserve evidence, or notify appropriate parties when reasonably necessary. Reporting, decision notices, and available appeals are described in the Content Moderation, Reporting, and Appeals Policy.
Third-party services
The Network may link to or connect with payment providers, websites, social platforms, fulfillment providers, or other third-party services. Their terms and privacy practices govern their services. FocalShift is not responsible for third-party availability, conduct, content, fees, or decisions.
Deactivation, deletion, and termination
You may deactivate or delete an account using available controls or by contacting us. Deactivation may hide a profile while retaining information needed to restore it. Deletion is subject to transaction, dispute, safety, fraud-prevention, backup, and legal-retention requirements. Termination does not erase obligations, licenses already granted to other members through lawful resharing, outstanding payments, disputes, or provisions intended to survive.
Changes and contact
We may update this Addendum as Network features, safety practices, and legal requirements change. Material changes will receive additional notice when required. Questions may be submitted through FocalShift Contact.
