The network

A page of your own, and people who answer.

This is the side of things where the work happens out loud. You get a page, a handle you choose, and a room full of people building through the same week you are.

It is a free account and it is made the moment you ask for it. You pick a name and a handle, and the next thing you see is your own page.

The night Nadia joined

Nadia has a flower shop, a website almost nobody visits, and a question she had been carrying around for a month: whether weddings were still worth the Saturdays.

She signed up on a Tuesday evening. It asked her for a name and a handle — she took @nadiamakes — and then it put her on her own page. Empty. Her name across the top, a line waiting for whatever she does, and a space underneath for the first thing she wanted to say.

So she said the thing she had been carrying. Not polished. Just the question.

By Thursday she had answers, and one of them came from a woman who had run the same kind of shop for years and knew exactly which Saturdays paid and which ones only looked like they did.

Nadia did not get a feed. She got someone close enough to answer.

What your page holds

  • Your name and your handle

The handle is the address people share when they send someone to you. You pick it, and nobody else can take it.

  • One line about what you do

Not a biography. The sentence you would say if someone asked you at a bus stop.

  • What you are building right now

Put the current thing up while it is still rough. Rough is what people answer.

  • The rooms you are in

The conversations you joined and the people you met stay attached to your page, so a stranger can see who already knows you.

How joining works

  1. Pick a name and a handle

Two boxes. The handle is checked as you type, so you leave with one that is genuinely yours.

  2. That is the whole account

Nothing to choose, nothing to configure, nothing waiting on anyone.

  3. You land on your own page

Signed in already, looking at your name and an empty space, with the cursor where the first thing goes.

Your page is about a minute away.

Been here before? Sign in and your page is where you left it.
