About FocalShift

FocalShift is one platform for running a whole business — the work, the people you serve, the money and the places you publish, on one desk instead of a shelf of separate subscriptions that do not speak to each other.

Several separate tools arriving at one desk

An illustration of what the platform is for — a drawing, not a screenshot.

Who we are

A company built by an operator, for operators.

FocalShift was started by a founder who needed it. Running a small business meant paying for one tool to hold the work, another for the customers, another for the invoices, another for the website and another to try to join them together — and still keeping the only honest picture of the business in a spreadsheet and in her own head.

So the platform was built the other way round: one place where those parts already know about each other, with an AI teammate that reads your real records rather than a paragraph about you. It is not a suite of apps sold together. It is one system with many rooms.

The company is small and the work is done in the open. What is finished is on the site and can be poked before you sign up; what is not finished is not described as though it were.

What it is for

Three things, and they are the same three every day.

Discover

Find the customers, the collaborators and the work that is already looking for you — on the map, in the network, in your own records.

Organize

Put the whole business in order in one place: the boards, the people, the money and the sites, wired to each other rather than exported between apps.

Collaborate

Do the work with other people — your team, your clients, your members — in rooms where everyone sees the same week.

The company on paper

Who you are actually dealing with.

The contracting entity. The FocalShift contracting entity is FocalShift Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Everything you buy here, you buy from that company.

The full entity record — the corporate file details, the registered agent and the address for service of process — is printed on the binding documents in the Legal Centre, where it belongs and where it stays current.
